Frequently Asked Questions

Can we hold the Ceremony at Creslow?
I'm afraid we do not hold a license, so the ceremony would have to take place elsewhere. You may have a mock ceremony, with a celebrant, in the gardens, if you wish.

Can we come to Creslow the day before the wedding to set-up?
Yes, we like you to come in the day before the wedding between 9.00am and 5.00pm to get everything perfect for your big day.

Can we leave cars overnight?
Yes, we have a large car park and cars can be left at owners risk.

Can we come in the next day to collect our belongings, flowers etc.?
Yes, you may collect all your belongings before midday the day after your wedding.

Is confetti permitted?
You may only throw natural confetti at Creslow, no other type is permitted. No confetti of any type may be thrown in the marquee or a cleaning charge will be made.

What time can the event finish?
The music must be switched off at midnight and guest leave straight after that.

Do you permit fireworks?
Yes, we allow fireworks if activated by a reputable firework company but Chinese lanterns are strictly prohibited, as are sparklers.

Can we bring in our own suppliers?
Yes, you can bring in your own caterers, entertainment and decorating suppliers, provided they have all the relevant certification, or we can make you recommendations but Creslow has its own bar so no other bars are allowed in and we supply all glassware. We make a £300 charge for the bar which is refunded if the bar spend and corkage is more than £1,000.

Can we bring our own drinks?
You can bring your own wine and sparkling and we charge £6 per 75cl bottle of wine and £10 per 75cl bottle of sparkly, which covers glasses, chilling and service, if required. You are not permitted to bring in any other drink to the premises.

What are your payment terms?
We ask for a £1000 non-refundable deposit to secure your date. 50% of the balance of the hire costs is payable 2 months before the event and the balance 3 weeks before, once paid these fees are non refundable and non-payment is deemed to be cancellation of the booking.
We also charge a £500 damage deposit fee which is refundable if there is no damage caused.

Do you accept credit cards at the bar?
No, I'm afraid our bar is cash only and we do not accept credit or debit cards.
